Ancilliaries

ML Chevrons

What are ancillaries, anyway?

It’s a strange word, isn’t it? By ancillaries, we mean any accessory products that support the application, craftmanship and longevity of lead. Lead is a simple material to work with, being easy to shape and cut. However, there are a few little extras that will really make the preparation and care of lead even easier.

To do a quality job, you’ll want to use patination oil to treat the lead and prevent unsightly white staining. Fixing clips, to make sure the lead stays firm in place. And lead domes and motifs, to provide that perfect finishing touch.
